 Recently the 100 days function of the mega hit Gilli was held in Chennai. And it was not the film's hero Vijay who hogged the limelight. Instead, it was the surprise guest Rajinikanth who walked away with all the applause. Rajini rarely makes a public appearance these days. In fact, he not only made it to the function, but also spoke at length. He praised Vijay and director Dharani for coming up with a hardy entertainer. He also praised Vijay and Vikram (another guest on the occasion) for being friendly and competitive. He said it reminded him of the days with Kamal in the 80s. |
