 Taking part in a college function recently, director Prabhu Solomon said, "I want to do the remake of MGR's evergreen classic Ayirathil Oruvan and would like Vijay to play the lead role. Thanks to the technical advancements, I am confident that the movie would come out well." Expressing his happiness at his Lee doing good business, Prabhu Solomon said, "I want to do movies that dwell on serious issues. Both Kokki and Lee had a strong message. Hopefully, I would continue to do such movies in future." Expressing his admiration for Vikram, Prabhu Solomon said, "I worked with him in King. He is an amazing actor with abundant skills.
