If there is one movie that has toiled to see the light of the day, it has to be Azhagiya Tamil Magan. This movie, initially unsure of its Deepavali release is cruising towards it, and has left no stone unturned to ensure a smooth sailing. Its original distributors Pyramid Saimira withdrew a few days ago fearing a legal wrangle the producer was caught in.

Hardly had that issue died had the next one cropped up. This one was by the producers themselves. The issue is about changing the music composer for the background score of the film. This is a big one as Sabesh–Murali replaced A R Rahman because of the delay the latter caused in composing the music. With this, the project is sailing smooth and is ready for the censors.

The Chennai rights has been sold for a record price, initially Vijay's father S.A. Chandrasekhar was holding the Chennai rights of the movie but now news is out that it has been sold to Kalpathi Agoram, the producer of Thiruttu Payale.
