This Diwali, Sivakasi is said to be in the lead as per the analysis. It is said that 147 theatres in Tamil Nadu and 80 theatres in Kerela has been booked for the movie Sivakasi. Asin Vijay combination is no doubt the pulse of the youth and is proved with the release today. The applaud in the theatres are remarkable and for certain actions and style of Vijay There was a constant word repeat and once more.
Vijay's style in the movie had made the audience exhilarating and this will lead to an unbendable competition with other release of today. The second film by Perarasu with Vijay has given an astounding effect as it is the mother's sentiment that fascinated the audience and Geetha's role as Vijay's mother had brought out the beauty of mother's eagerness, enthusiasm, and the passion of a mother for the son, that had captured the lady's mind and it could be felt as they left the theatre.
Vijay lives in a village in Sivakasi .He comes to Chennai and seeks a job and he works in a welding shop. The routine life is portrayed for a while. He comes across Asin (hema) and he falls in love with her. Asin's father runs a jewelry shop and hearing this he becomes infuriated and the problems that had occurred should be eye witnessed and observed through the movie. First half of the story is very interesting with humorous dialogue, fun, jokes between Asin and Vijay, and it extends to Vijay apologizing with her.
The film is a challenge for Asin and she has superbly performed to the focus of the audience. Prakash Raj is the villain and a brother to Vijay The dialogue between Vijay and Prakash Raj and the stunt actions are the high point of the movie .The second half of the story is how the mother gets protection from the son .The stunt sequences ends up into a climax where Vijay and Asin joins hand and brings happiness and joy to both of them.
The movie is worth seeing as it includes sentiment and entertainment. It is a action paired entertainer and worth considering. Director Perarasu has moulded Vijay in such a way the smack will give him a remarkable victory and the producer has shaped the movie unquestionably well, it is definitely going to be the strike of the day.The song Deepavali Deepavali is a mixture of western and folk in a right manner and the rhythm of the guitar adds beauty to the song which will be ever remembered by the audience. The dance by Asin and Vijay for this song with yellow dress adds serenity and charm to the movie.
All the songs penned by Perarasu and set to music by Srikanth Deva has a different significance to the movie .The song Kodambakkam area a dapankuthu song and Nayanthara's dance has captured the young youth whose whistling for once again was vibrating the theatre But the lyrics and orchestration for the song Ada Enatha..and Enn Thevaithukey did not motivate the audience at all.
The camera by Sekhar V.joseph and art direction by G.K. has worked out marvelously for certain centres. But still more focus could have been give to the satisfaction of some of the audience Not much of Technical facet as the film does not demand much .But on the whole the movie is a family oriented one and is worth seeing. The whole credit goes to Perarasu and A.M Rathnam for bringing out a movie of specialty and will be a big gust. Let us wait and see for the DEEPAVALI FEAST OF THIS MOVIE.

Vijay overtakes Vikram - Pre-release situation
Pushing Siyan to the back, Vijay is in the forefront by 3 crores.
Dakara dakara songs, super fights and emotional scenes will make it difficult for 'Sivakasi' to be dragged to the shore, whispered the Kodambakkam gossip vine. But the film has quietly created a record.
'Thavamai Thavamirundhu' and 'June R' that were slated for a Deepavali release got out of the race due to several reasons. The films currently in the race are 'Sivakasi,' 'Majaa,' 'Adhu Oru
Kanaakaalam' and 'Perusu.'
'Adhu Oru Kanaakaalam' had no takers so the producer is himself distributing in some areas. Dhanush has bought the rights for 3 districts. Produced for 4 crores, only after the release can one see if the film will do well or flop miserably.
Vikram's 'Majaa' was produced for 6 ½ crores and sold for 13 crores. This includes Andhra, Kerala, overseas market as well as audio rights. So, when the film is released, the producer Rockline
Venkatesh will be richer by 6 ½ crores.
'Sivakasi' gets first place in the Deepavali sales. Produced at a cost of 7 crores, the film has been sold for 16 crores. This is 3 crores more than 'Majaa.' Whether the film runs or not, producer A M
Rathnam reaps a 9 crores profit.
The Sivakasi fireworks is ample proof that Vijay is fast becoming a junior superstar!

Vijay is a reliable customer in Kollywood for he assures a commercial success in every film of his.
Producers queue behind him for he has the mass appeal to attract audience to theatres.
Asked the secret behind his success, Vijay says ‘I evince interest not just in acting, but also in different departments like editing, dubbing and music in every film of mine. But I will never interfere in other’s job. This has brought good rewards to my film'.
'I am extremely happy that all my producers are making profits. The credit should go not just to me, but also to the whole team including my co-artistes and the directors'.
Vijay, who has completed almost a decade in filmdom, is an admirer of young actors like Surya, Dhanush, Simbu, Bharath and Arya.
He says, 'lots of talented youngsters have come to industry, which is a welcome sign'.
Though Vijay has played several roles, he is yet to play a police officer. His long cherished desire is to fulfill with Puli.
He says, 'after my home production Adhi, I play an honest police officer in Puli'

This Deepavali will surely be a cracker. Vijay's much awaited film promises plenty of fireworks. The trailers show a veritable feast of action, romance and comedy. Vijay left for Sivakasi to spend some time with his fans. Standard Fireworks which is a noted brand in crackers has partly sponsored the film.
As part of his promotional campaign for the film, Vijay drove through Sivakasi in an open jeep and the simple village folk were overjoyed to see their screen idol. He expressed happiness at the affection shown to him and requested them to make the film a big success.

If anyone had visited Sivakasi yesterday, they would have wondered why Deepavali was being celebrated a week in advance! With firework displays and strings of decoration, our 'Sivakasi' hero made it a celebratory spectacle.Those who have labeled him as a 'mouna saamiyar' or a loner, would have seen a different Vijay yesterday.
Even as his flight landed in Madurai at 8.20am, the firework display could be seen in the skies. Swimming his way through the throng of fans with his father S A Chandrasekhar, he first went to Thirumangalam. He gifted 2 sewing machines and then proceeded to Virudhunagar. He had tea at a fan's stall and gave Rs.2000 as Deepavali gift. After being welcomed by traditional greeting like 'parivattam' and 'aarathi' much to his delight, he made a surprise visit to Vinayaka and Sony Fireworks factories and enquired about the process of making fireworks. The only thing the girls there wanted was to touch Vijay!
The people who were given most importance were the hearing impaired and disabled students of CSI School. Vijay was very happy to see the Annamalai Unnamalai Nagaratchi Palli playground in Sivakasi. Like he did in 'Gilli,' he played kabbadi there for a while.During the entertainment, he went on stage and played the thappattam to the delight of everyone.
To sum up, Vijay started the Deepavali celebrations from yesterday itself at Sivakasi.What's all this in aid of?"Because the title of my film is 'Sivakasi,' I wanted to celebrate Deepavali in Sivakasi," was the cool explanation by Ilaya Dalapathi.

• The successful duo of Vijay and director Perarasu is again back with a big bash through the movie Sivakasi. The movie is all set to release for Deepvali.
• For, the first time Vijay has been paired with the elegant girl from Kerala, Asin and Prakash Raj appearsin the role of villain.
• The movie is produced by A.M.Ratnam under the banner Sri Surya Movie in a flamboyant manner and this is the second directorial venture for Perarasu. The movie has overshot the expected budget.
• The director himself has penned all the lyrics of the movie and the music is scored by the budding music director Srikanth Deva. The songs have already received a great welcome among the audience.
• The director says that Vijay and Prakash Raj play the role of brothers of each other and the combat between them is the crux of the story.

The greatest expectation this festive season will be Vijay’s Sivakasi for Deepavali. While most of the post-production schedule is over, only dts mixing is left to be completed. A.M. Ratnam normally prefers the Media Artists studio in Royapettah, Chennai which belongs to director Priyadarshan.
This time however, the dts mixing will be done at Kalasa studio in Vadapalani. Kalasa is also the favorite of the current rage, Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Simbu and director S.J. Surya are good friends. Simbu will be working under Surya in A/C. But, he participates in several discussion sessions with S.J. Surya for the latter’s films. He had come in during some sittings for Puli’s story discussion. Puli has Vijay in the lead. It is reported that Vijay has requested S.J. Surya that Simbu should not come in for Puli.
The reason? Puli and A/C are being made and released simultaneously. Therefore, each should be different and there should be no influence of each on other. Or is it a case of professional rivalry? Um..um..um..no prizes for guessing.

The union of Vijay and Trisha back again for the second time is the movie Aadhi. A total of 65 scenes have been fixed in this movie, which is to be directed by the Thirumalai director Ramana.
The shooting of this movie has completed duration of 20 days and so far 27 scenes have been completed, according to Ramana.
As a result this movie has grown very rapidly. Both Vijay and S.A. Chandrasekar are amazed at the speed rate of director Ramana. On account of this director Ramana is over joyous.

Trisha and Vijay are the lead pair in Aadhi. One song was shot in Prasad Studios in Chennai recently. Another song was shot from 9 a.m. today till 6 in the evening.
In case of shooting in Chennai, Vijay packs up sharp at six and leaves for home. He only likes to spend quiet moments with his family.
