The shoot of Vijay- Shriya, starrer Azhagiya Tamizh Magan directed by debutant Bharathan is almost 85 percent over. Producer ‘Swaragachitra’ Appachan is a happy man, as only portion leading to the climax and few songs remain to be shot. Last two weeks, Vijay and Shriya were shooting non-stop for the film in and around Hyderabad. A major portion of the film was canned at this schedule, including fight scenes and portions of some romantic scenes. A.R Rahman is said to have come out with some great numbers for the film. Our Ilayathalapathy is very happy with the way the shoot is proceeding, unlike Pokkiri, where there was a lot of tension with the director. Added to that, the buzz is that the film will give a new look to Vijay and has the potential to be a big hit. Meanwhile the film is very hot in the trade circuits, and all areas have gone for a record price. Added to that in one of the areas, a resale has taken place, as the trade is confident that the film will release on August 15, as scheduled.
