ATM shoot over!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay, heaved a sigh of relief and joy on Thursday evening, as his Azhagiya Tamizh Magan shoot was completed at Film city in Chennai. It was the longest ever shooting schedule for a Vijay film, as director Bharathan took nearly 200 days to complete the talkie and songs. The last song to be shot for ATM, a remix of Sivaji Ganesan’s Sorgam hit number Ponmagan Vanthal….. was picturised on Vijay and Shriya on a set put up by art director Maniraj. The post production work of the film will start from October 1, with Vijay already completing a good part of dubbing for the film. A.R Rahman will start the re-recording of the film from the second week of October. Meanwhile producer Swargachitra Appachan is a happy man, as the project conceived nearly three years back is finally going to hit the screens this Diwali. First Appachan tried to make Puli with Vijay under S.J Surya’s direction, then it became a remake of Pawan Kalyan’s Bangaram, which too was scrapped. Finally it became a reality with ATM under Bharathan!
