This is today's hot topic in Kodambakkam. Even a tiger and deer drinking water from the same pool will not cause as much astonishment as Vijay and Ajith meeting up because the media has always projected them as arch rivals.
One guy will demand who Thala is. Another wills ay he's not one to even call a friend. Such were the dialogues in Vijay and Ajith films. Now the slate is clean. There's no needling and no bad feelings.
At the Govt Film Awards function, it was a pleasant surprise to see Vijay and Ajith sitting next to each other and sharing pleasantries. Vijay has then issued an invitation to Ajith and Shalini to visit his house.
It is said that Ajith and Shalini took up the invitation and Vijay treated them as guests of honor. Why this sudden affection?
Till yesterday, they were referred o as the next Kamal and Rajini. Now there are many more actors in the reckoning including Vikram, Surya, Vishal, Simbu and Jeeva. A little bit of lapse and the chairs will be grabbed by the others. So, it is said, the two of them are keeping to their positions and like Kamal and Rajini, they are also trying to be friends.
Whatever be the reason, it is always good to see friendship grow!
