 Actor Vijay chose to celebrate his Deepavali with a difference. On Thursday, he organized a mega function in which he distributed cloth, sweet and crackers to the families of over 200 auto-drivers in Chennai. Speaking on the occasion, Vijay said, "I have a great respect for auto-drivers. Every year I would love to celebrate my Deepavali with the common people. This year, I read an article about the difficult life of auto men in a magazine. Immediately decided to do my best for them." The function witnessed several auto-drivers along with their families greeting Vijay and taking photograph with the actor. They expressed their gratitude to the actor. |
