Vijay on low profile

After the Aathi fiasco, Vijay is keeping an extremely low profile. He was seen recently at Tamilnadu government award function; so that his detractors will not say that he is in the DMK camp. The issue over refunds to theatres who lost money on Aathi is yet to be resolved.

However, Vijay has taken a hard decision he will not do a film in haste. This year he will have only one more release Murasu for producer Swargachitra Appachan directed by Muthuvadigu. It seems Vijay is not too happy with the script that was written and has asked Muthuvadigu for some changes and the shooting is being postponed every week!

Vijay understands that ‘formula films’ will be accepted by his fans only if there is something new in story and presentation. Meanwhile Muthuvadigu’s brother Perarasu is helping him with the script but Vijay is not happy. It seems that he has asked Perarasu to ghost direct the film after he finishes Ajit’s Tirupati. Now Appachan says that Murasu shooting will start fromApril 14, the day Tirupati releases!
