Namitha and Shreya are the two glamour dolls who would be seen flanking Vijay in the upcoming Azhagiya Thirumagan. This news is relatively old. But the story behind Shreya’s inclusion in the film is very interesting.
Initially Sneha was considered for the role of Shreya. But Sivaji heroine proved lucky by grabbing this offer. The reasons attributed are many.
These days there is no separate department for glamour and the heroine takes charge of oomph element also in a film. In this context Sneha would be a novice as far as Kollywood is concerned. Secondly, the producer wanted somebody younger and sensuous for Vijay. Since Shreya fits the bill perfectly, she was roped in.
Besides that, from a novelty point of view, Sneha cannot be considered as she has already featured as Vijay’s heroine in Vaseegara. Vijay- Shreya combination is a new one and fans of Vijay seemed to approve that too.
But in a recent filmi function, without knowing that Shreya has replaced her, Sneha was found chatting with her for a very long time.
