Recently, a scene was shot for 'Veerappu.' It's an action scene that shows Sundar C in a theatre, bashing up the inspector who thrashes him at the police station. On the screen is Vijay dancing to "Pokkiri pongal..."
In the original Malayalam version 'Spatikam,' the screen shows an action sequence by Rajini in 'Dalapathy' where in the pouring rain he bashes up Dalapathy Dinesh while Mohanlal thrashes the inspector in the theatre.
How did Rajini in the Malayalam version get replaced by Vijay in the Tamil version?
"Both my daughters are ardent Vijay fans. To make them happy, I used Vijay's 'Pokkiri pongal..." in the film," says Sundar C.
Sundar C is indeed a doting dad!
