This film that brings Thirumugan-Bharath together after 'M.Mahan'has a new face Poorna as Bharath's pair. Vadivelu is also acting in an interesting role. For Vairamuthu's lyrics, Vidyasagar has composed music.
The audio release function took place yesterday at Asiana Hotel in Solinganallur near Chennai. The songs were released by Vijay and received by Prabhu.
In the days when even the lyricists were not allowed on the stage, this function was different as the lyricist himself invited the singers to the stage and explained the process of creating the songs.
When Vijay spoke he gave the title of 'Chinna Asin' to Poorna who was overjoyed and thanked Vijay.
It is learnt that Muniyandi is the name of director Thirumurugan's father. He said the title of the film is made after his name who died recently.
