Muniyandi, Vilangiyal Moondram Aandu, is an interesting title of the second celluloid venture of Thirumurugan who gave an enjoyable family based clean film Emmagan some time back. The director has teamed up with Bharath and Vadivelu once again in this film. Newcomer Poorna plays the love interest of Bharath in MVM.
The audio launch of the film was recently held at a new star hotel at Old Mahabalipuram Road which was attended by Ilaya Thalapathy along with the crew associated with the film. Music has been scored by Vidya Sagar while lyrics are penned by Vairamuthu.

Innovative audio launch functions seem to be the order of the day in Tamil Cinema. Bharath starrer ‘Muniyandi Vilangiyal Moonramaandu’ had its audio launch near Chennai on Monday.
Unlike usual audio release functions, the event witnessed the director, the music composer and the lyricist describing the hard work put behind composing every song and even briefed the media about the situation of the songs in the film.
Director Thirumurugan, music composer Vidyasagar and lyricist Vairamuthu hogged the limelight talking about the intricacies that went into making the songs.
Actor Vijay released the first copy of the audio and expressed his hope that the movie would go on to become a hit.
Vairamuthu made many valid points on contemporary Tamil film music. He said, 'the kuthu songs (fast beats) have overshadowed melodious songs and the hard work of lyricists is lost with heavy music'.
He also urged music-lovers to give due recognition to the lyricists. Vidyasagar expressed his hope that the album would top the charts.
Producer Dathao Duraisinghavelu, actor Prabhu and Thirumurugan also spoke on the occasion.
Jointly produced by Ayngaran, the audio launch witnessed the presence of actor Bharath, actress Poorna and Karuna of Ayngaran among others
இன்னொரு அசின்!- முனியாண்டி ஹீரோயினை பாராட்டிய விஜய்
ஒரு அசின் போனாலும், இன்னொரு அசின் கிடைத்திருக்கிறார் என்று ஒரு புதுமுக 
நடிகையை பாராட்டினால் எப்படியிருக்கும்? அதுவும் அடுத்த சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் என்று நம்பப்படும் விஜய் வாயாலேயே அந்த வார்த்தைகள் வந்தால்? திக்குமுக்காடி போனார் பூரணா.
'முனியாண்டி விலங்கியல் மூன்றாம் ஆண்டு' படத்தின் ஆடியோ வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டார் நடிகர் விஜய். நான்கு பாடல்களை திரையிட்டார்கள். அவற்றை பார்த்துவிட்டு அசந்து போன விஜய், படத்தின் நாயகி பூரணாவின் நடிப்பை வியந்து பாராட்டினார். அப்போது, 'அசின் ஹிந்தி படங்களில் நடிப்பதற்காக மும்பையிலேயே செட்டில் ஆயிட்டதா சொல்றாங்க. அவங்க போனாலும், அவங்க இடத்தில் நடிக்க இன்னொரு அசின் கிடைத்திருக்கிறார்' என்று பூரணாவை பாராட்ட, சந்தோஷத்தில் முகம் சிவந்தார் பூரணா!
'எனக்கு மெலடியை விட குத்துப்பாட்டுதான் ரொம்ப பிடிக்கும். இந்த படத்தில் வந்த 
குத்துப்பாடல்கள் சூப்பர்' என்றார் விஜய். முன்னதாக பேசிய கவிப்பேரரசு வைரமுத்து, 'ஒருபடத்தில் பத்து பாடல்கள் இருந்தாலும், அத்தனையும் குத்துப் பாடல்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற நிலை வந்துவிட்டது. இது மாற வேண்டும். குத்துப்பாடல்கள் அவசியம்தான். ஆனால் இலை முழுக்க ஊறுகாயை வைத்தால் சாப்பிட முடியுமா?' என்றார். சற்று தாமதமாக வந்த விஜய், வைரமுத்துவின் பேச்சை கேட்க முடியாமல் போனதால் குத்துப்பாடல்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக பேச வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை தானாகவே அமைந்து விட்டது.
ஒவ்வொரு பாடல்களையும் திரையிடுவதற்கு முன், அப்பாடலின் சூழ்நிலை, எழுதப்பட்ட வரிகள், இசையமைத்த விதம் ஆகியவை பற்றி சம்பந்தப்பட்ட கலைஞர்கள் விளக்கிய பின் பாடல்களை திரையிட்டார்கள். படத்தை டத்தோ ரெனா.துரைசிங்கம் தயாரித்திருக்கிறார். இவரை மேடையில் அறிமுகம் செய்யும்போது, ஜாக்கிசானிடம் இருந்து ஒரு தீவை விலைக்கு வாங்கி அங்கே இரண்டாயிரம் அறைகள் கொண்ட மிகப்பெரிய ஓட்டல் கட்டியிருக்கிறார் என்றார்கள்.
இவரது பிரமாண்டமான 'வரவு'க்கு கோலிவுட் ரத்தினக் கம்பளமே விரிக்கலாம்!
