Vijay sports a ravishing look in Azhagiya Tamil Magan. 'Ilayathalapathi' is pairing with two top sensations in Kollywood, Namitha and Shriya in the movie. Music for Azhagiya... is by 'Isai Puyal' A.R. Rahman. Rahman, in addition to making all the six songs thoroughly enjoyable, has also worked at glorifying the yesteryear hit, 'Ponmagal Vandaal'. Azhagiya Tamil Magan, a Deepavali release has already begun its smooth ascent to the top.

'Ellapugazhum' is a thematic song. The charming melody, set at a uniformly pleasant tempo, sung by A.R. Rahman with apt lyrics, slides smoothly like honey to produce the desired effect.

The enthusiasm in 'Maduraikku Pogathadee' makes the first impression a strong and good impression. Sung by Benny Dayal, Dharshana and Archith, it sparkles with a freshness along with a novelty due to its occasional western beats.

'Ponmagal Vandaal', a remix, rekindles the same fondness and fascination one experienced while hearing the original. The effect is greatly enhanced by the trendy instrumentation and rap. The song comes in a combination of Ember Rap and Aslam's voices.

'Nee Marilyn Monroe' is sprightly in Benny Dayal and Ujjaiyini's voices with a fine balance in rhythm.

'Valayapatti' has an interesting application of classical music accompanied by a traditional set of instruments. Madhumitha, Naresh Iyer and Ujjayinee take equal credits in the rendition.

'Kelamal Kaiyile' progresses at a pace that attracts listeners. Why? Because of the understated simplicity and gracefulness in it.
