In Dharani's Kuruvi, Vadivelu was approached for the role of comedian and due to non availability of dates for extended duration, he was not able to accept the offer. Now the role has been lapped by Janangalin Kalaignan Vivek who is very upbeat about being teamed up with director Dharani once again after Dhool. Vivek's comedy in Dharani's Dhool was much enjoyed by everyone and it was a great success.
In a recent interview, Vivek had mentioned that he is very happy with the way his career has been progressing right now. Solli Adippen, where he plays the hero for the first time will hit the screens on 8th of November. According to him, his character in upcoming Pasupathy C/O Rasakkapalayam will be liked by everyone. He will also feature as hero in a historical film called Kodambakkathil Parthasarathy which will be directed by Hariharan. With Cheeyan Vikram, he will be providing comic relief in Susi Ganesan's Kanthaswamy.
