Vijay's Kuruvi shoot is 90 percent complete, after the Salem schedule, which will end on March 3. One more song has to be picturised most likely in a Chennai studio.
Meanwhile Vidyasagar has started the re-recording of the film in his Varsha Vallaki studio. Dharani has given the first half of the film for re-recording, which clearly means Kuruvi can release in May.
Vijay is said to be happy by the way, Kuruvi is progressing. So far he has not spoken anything on Kuruvi, which is a smart move as there will not be any unnecessary hype around the film.
The trade buzz is that Kuruvi is likely to release on May 1 or 9, with the audio launch a month before the release date. For Vijay all his major summer releases either in April (Ghilli) or May (Kushi) has been huge hits.
