Vijay's new film - gigantic set being made

17.03.2006

"I am not an elephant, but only a horse. So even if I slip, I can get up fast." Vijay has not expressed such a challenge in Rajini style. But he is taking steps for his next film with great conviction.

The film `Murasu' is being launched by director Muthu Vadugu, the brother of director Perarasu. Perarasu is writing the story, screen play, dialogues and songs and he is also directing this film.

People say that this film is a balanced blend of sentiment and commercialism. A giant set is being prepared near Prasad Lab at the same place where `Poovellam un Vasam' was shot. A large township is being built here. More than 1000 artisans were engaged to build it in one month time.

The very façade is so impressive, that news about `Murasu' spread in all directions. In the race between Trisha and Asin to act in this film, Asin was the one who won it. Asin is acting as a pair to Vijay.

It is learnt that the exhibitors who created problem for the film `Aathi' will not be given the film `Murasu'. It is also learnt that Vijay himself has sent this strict instruction.
