It is known that Vijay is doing a film for the production house of Udhayanidhi, son of Minister M K Stalin.

Dharani is slated to direct this film. Vidhya Sagar is the music director. Vijay and Dharani are joining hands after their blockbuster Ghilli.

Unconfirmed sources say that the new film has been named Kuruvi. There are also rumors going around about the story line. If we go by the rumors, the story is this.

The hero goes to Singapore where is caught for not possessing valid documents. He finds himself dragged into lot of troubles. How the hero opens this knot forms the crux of the story.
