Vijay’s Azhagiya Tamil Magan is almost reaching its final stages and is slated for a Diwali release. And Ilayathalapathy is gearing up for his next venture Kuruvi, to be directed by Dharani and produced by Udhayanidhi. Meanwhile, the actor has given the go ahead signal to producer London Karunas and the movie will be directed by Prabhu Deva.

In the meantime, London Karunas has two projects on hands – one a Jeyam Ravi-starrer directed by E-fame Jananathan and the other with Ajith in the lead directed by Raju Sundaram.

Vijay is a busy man. He is currently doing Azhagiya Tamil Magan with Shriya and Namitha. After completing this film, he teams up with the hit team of Ghilli, director Dharani and co-star Trisha for Kuruvi.

This new film will cast him opposite Ayesha Takia, who has established herself well in Bollywood with films like Dor directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Ayesha is also doing the Hindi remake of Pokkiri to be directed by Prabhu Deva (again) and produced by Boney Kapoor.

Vijay films have the distinction of having introduced north Indian beauties like Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu in Tamil films.

After 'Azhagiya Thamizh Magan' and 'Kuruvi,' Vijay acts again in a Prabhu Deva film.
The film has 2 heroines. One is Ayesha Takia, who is not familiar to Tamil audiences. The other will most probably be a known star but who has not yet been decided.
London based producer Karunaas is producing this film, who is producing another film before this starring Ajith and directed by Raju Sundaram, Prabhu Deva's brother.
Not content that he has the call sheets of top heroes like Ajith and Vijay, Karunaas is also quietly producing a film starring Jayam Ravi. Directed by Jananathan, the film has been titled 'Vetri Kondaan.'
Back to Prabhu Deva and Raju Sundaram, there's speculation in Kodambakkam as to which of the 2 films directed by the 2 brothers would be the more victorious.
