Vijay’s 50th film to start shortly

Vettaikaran, Vijay’s 49th film is in the final stages and the actor is gearing up for his 50th film. Sources reveal that the film’s shooting will commence during the first week of September.

After a lot of speculation the director for this new venture has been finalized. S P Rajakumar of Azhagar Malai fame will wield the megaphone for this project. An official announcement is expected soon.

It is also said that Yuvan Shankar Raja may compose music for the film.
