Ajith and Vijay bridge gaps

In tinsel town there is always a dichotomy in matters of owing allegiance to a particular star. The film icons may keep changing with the times but the fan following always remains divided keeping in tune with the times. In the 60s, there were two camps one that followed Sivaji and the other exhibited steadfast devotion to M G R.

In the 80s, it was Rajini and Kamal and now it is Ajith and Vijay. Though the stars in question share a perfect geniality among themselves, it is the fans who are always at loggerheads.

At a recently held State Government Film Award function, Ajith and Vijay were spotted sitting beside each other and enjoying a lively evening, laughing and sharing lighter moments. Their bonhomie was the cynosure of the shutterbugs and media coverage. The latest buzz in Kodambakkam is that Vijay and Sangeetha had visited Ajith and Shalini and had spent some time at the latter's residence. This event was followed by Ajith and Shalini visiting Vijay's house and it was even reported that Sangeetha was sharing some useful tips on pregnancy and child care to Shalini who is expecting her first child in the month of January.

Friendship between Ilaya Thalapathy and Ultimate Star is sure to augur in affability among their fans too. This degree of camaraderie among stars is definitely a welcome trend. Wishing them all a Happy and Joyous Deepavali.
