Vijay seems to be nearing 50 (movies) and how. Before his 48th flick Villu's shoots are over, plans are shaping up for his 50th film. As reported by us earlier, the movie would be produced by S.A. Chandrasekhar for Vijay's home banner and directed by the Malayalam director Siddique.
As per the latest buzz, the movie will be the remake of the Dilip starrer Malayalam flick Bodyguard. Known for his comedy movies, Siddique also seems to have obtained Vijay's consent about Bodyguard. The movie's script, however, would undergo regionalization techniques
to be in tune with the interests of the actor's fan base. Siddique's association with Vijay is nothing new as he has already directed the actor for the hit movie Friends.
